Chelwood Nursery School is a State School which is the direct responsibility of Lewisham Education Authority. The school consists of three separate classes and each class has its own toilets and washroom, plus coat peg facilities. There is a resources room which is also used as a library and houses all the school's books, story props, musical instruments and our poster collection. There is a staff room, a headteacher's office, a secretary's office and a small laundry room. The school has a large outdoor play area referred to as "the garden", which is used as an extension of the indoor learning environment. There is a small annexe called Chelwood House, where you will find the parents' room, the medical room, the premises officer's room, and a literacy room. Chelwood House has its own adults' and children's toilets, and also has a small front and back garden. |
